Short Bio

I am a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Systems Engineering at the University of Zaragoza (Unizar). My research interests include high-performance networking and TSN, real-time multiprocessor scheduling, memory hierarchy, and microarchitecture. I actively collaborate with industry on embedded systems projects. I hold a combined BS/MS degree in Geology, an MS degree in Computer Science, and a PhD in Computer Engineering, all from Unizar. I have also contributed to the application of computing in Structural Geology. I am a member of the gaZ research group (University of Zaragoza), the I3A Research Institute, the IEEE, the Internet Society (ISOC), and the Spanish Society of Computer Architecture (SARTECO). I have been affiliated with the HiPEAC European Network of Excellence since 2004.
